當(dāng)溫度在150℃以下時(shí)，鋼材性質(zhì)變化很小。因而鋼結(jié)構(gòu)適用于熱車間，但結(jié)構(gòu)表面受150℃左右的熱輻射時(shí)，要采用隔熱板加以保護(hù)。溫度在300℃ -400℃時(shí).鋼材強(qiáng)度和彈性模量均下降，溫度在600℃左右時(shí)，鋼材的強(qiáng)度趨于零。在有特殊防火需求的建筑中，鋼結(jié)構(gòu)必須采用耐火材料加以保護(hù)以提高耐火等級(jí)。
